Forth Consulting
Forth Rivers Consulting is the consultancy trading arm of the Forth Rivers Trust. Embedded in our ethos is a commitment to the improvement of our rivers, wildlife and communities, delivered via expert ecological services; providing the best solutions for both our clients and the environment. Our work not only helps clients meet regulatory requirements but also contributes positively to broader environmental goals and community well-being. Our location in the Forth catchment and unique relationship with both Forth Rivers Trust and Forth District Salmon Fishery Board, coupled with our in-depth knowledge of the Forth basin, allows us to provide bespoke services at competitive rates. We are specialists in the provision of ecological clerk of works (ECoW), protected species surveys and mitigation, non-native invasive species control, and fish habitat and electrofishing surveys. Location data services that we provide revolt around data collection and collation. We perform scientific studies and data analyses, drone surveys for footage and photogrammetry including its processing, help with setting up GIS and public or fieldwork survey design, flood modelling including potential natural flood management implementations, storymapping and web apps, and the design and delivery of environmental education and training programmes.

Forth Rivers Trust
The Forth Rivers Trust is dedicated to engaging people with the rivers and wildlife within the Forth catchment area while conserving these vital ecosystems for future generations. Based in Edinburgh, the Trust's efforts span over 3,000 km², covering 13 river catchments and numerous coastal burns. This area is home to about 25% of Scotland's population and a diverse range of wildlife. Their work includes educational initiatives, public awareness campaigns aimed at protecting and enhancing water habitats, and conservation projects ranging from erosion control, riparian tree planting and peatland restoration to fish barrier removal and in-stream habitat improvements. In all of its projects, location data plays a crucial role which is amplified by the organisation's collaborative nature. From fieldwork design and public data collection to a variety of analyses and visualisations used for public engagement, data sharing, and reporting and evidencing for action. Though already collaborating with a variety of organisations on both location data and beyond, the Trust is always looking for opportunities to work together with you!

NERC Field Spectroscopy Facility
The NERC Field Spectroscopy Facility is a 'lending library' of spectroscopic equipment to the UK science community and beyond into international collaborations and industry. We supply training and data analysis expertise for a range of scientific instruments from handheld field spectrometers to multispectral and hyperspectral Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) borne imagery. Our sensors are used in many scientific fields, including but not limited to: ecology, geology, oceanography, glaciology and volcanology. We provide both training in and the direct provision of: UAV flights with multispectral and much rarer full-range (VNIR and SWIR) hyperspectral data; UAV flights for photogrammetry and the generation of Digital Surface Models (DSMs). To ensure imagery collected can be accurately placed geographically, we use GNSS receivers and Ground Control Points (GCPs) to fix imagery onto the globe, allowing comparison with other co-incident data in GIS software and in custom processing workflows.
